Thanks Jon. I really wanted to do lots of "impressionistic" types of works to match your impressionistic paintings for our upcoming show together but just didn't have the time. Well, at least I have this rough sculpt, although she lost some of her rough look with the glazing. It's always a toss up as to whether to glaze or not. But my colorful sculpts should compliment your colorful paintings! I haven't seen your work yet so I look forward to it.

Beautiful as usual! You're so talented. I love seeing your work. And this reminds me, I really need to update my blog. You're a lot more faithful about yours than I am about mine!! Good luck with the wax!

How exciting to get a post from you Anja! (Anja is my dear friend, my oldest friend in that I've had her as a friend since I was 6 months old.) Thank you Anja. Glad you like the naturalness of the belly. Pretty much that's more of my style, to let bodies have pooches here and there as they do in real life. :-) Prettier that way I think.

Yes, that's a clavicle bone. You remembered it well! Hard to remember all the parts of the body's name but at least we know what they look like. :-)

Tamara, I love the sculpture, she is beautiful. Great time given to detail, I noticed her little clavicle bone, I think that is what it is called. I also loved how you gradually got closer in the pics so we could see clearly all the detail. I noticed right away her little pooch, before I even saw your comment,I didn't think pregnant, I thought, "Oh, good she is making this beauty realistic, with a little rise in her belly." Beautiful

That a great idea for another sculpture Lynda. I will likely do that one day. I could have her in a brick arched cove and looking down and having a flower box below her. Oh, I'm getting inspired already! But for this one, it could apply to. She could be looking at him below serenading her.

Thank you dear Luella (one day I will name a sculpture with your beautiful name). On my facebook public page I have pics posted of her. That's where I post my sculpts and then occasionally on the private page. I'll share the link on my private page just for you!
