I didn't have any person's face in mind. I just started sculpting a pretty face and that's what came out. :-) She does look like Kristy somewhat (and Kristie's such a pretty girl)now that you mention it. Sometimes people's faces are in my subconcious and it comes out without my knowing it. For instance, when I sculpted my Patsy sculpture I didn't realize I was sculpting my close friend Pat who I hadn't seen for 20 years! I ended up giving the sculpture to her when she moved back to the states from Hawaii.

Look forward to seeing you at Aunt Chris'!

Wonderful work!

Be careful not to give it too much life!

She seems to be one of my ancestors, perhaps, and exhibits a righteous anger.

Tamara: She is so pretty. She reminds me a little of Kristy. Did you fashion her after someone in particular?

It was a great deal at that price. I guess he makes his money from all the chips that he gets. We had quotes for removing the trees (not the stumps) on up to $5000. So to get it all done and so quickly for $500 was a steal! And they cleaned everything up where they worked too. Very professional.

Probably because he was our neighbor's friend and he only lived a few roads over and was in between jobs is why we got the good price. He was just a good ole boy type of guy. Really nice.

Redwoods are so beautiful and love water so they will grow well in our irrigated pasture land.

Thanks for commenting on my blog!

Thank you. :-) I put a little bit of the white clay on the leaves also and the pot. I wonder how it will turn out. It didn't take very long to make so if it blows up it'll be okay.
