Fragment update
Hi All,
Here’s the update to the Return of Joy fragment clay relief sculpture. I think she turned out pretty well considering the composition was difficult to pull off. Having a few limbs missing was okay but…. getting them, especially the arm, to not be the focus was tricky. Having the leaves right over the missing arm really keeps the focus on the face.
Hope you like her. I’ll make a mold and then enjoy trying out glazes on her. Stay tuned! And thanks for watching.

Difficult composition but I think it turned out.
Two leaves give focus to face and not arm.
Sculpture can be a wall relief or stand on a shelf.
