Dark Red Hair “Memories” Sculpture

Here’s my second red haired sculpture called “Memories” but this sculpt has dark red hair rather than light as “With Love” had. I’d like to achieve the same rich red tone for next time but with less shine. If I were to add more china paint it would bring about a more satin gloss finish. With the base she’s ……

My Red Headed Lady Sculptures

What a treat to get to venture into new territory by doing two sculptures, both with red hair! I thoroughly enjoyed displaying the beauty of this special hair color. Normally I tend to use dark brown to black hair color or sometimes blonde but never have I depicted a red head! I didn’t even know if I could do it justice but wanted to try. True Rough Sketch
