Kristy’s Blossom pregnancy sculpture now in Bronze!Kristy’s Blossom pregnancy sculpture now in Bronze! Hi Friends, What a happy thing I did….. Foundry was….. a little leery of casting her for a couple of reasons:
Long story short…. everything’s just fine with her and another one of my babies is born in bronze. :- Kristy’s Blossom 16 X 14 X 14″ Edition of 35. Patina closely resembles the original clay sculpture. Her skin and clothes have warm tan tones. There is a slightly lighter color for her top. The rose she is holding is a mauve color with the edges polished back to show a bit of bronze metal for highlight. Her large rose that she’s sitting upon is a grey white color and has the same pinky mauve color in the center of the petals and blending out to the medium grey white. Muted soft tones match the subtle quiet moment she is having. In case of interest, I’m offering the first cast of her at introductory price 15% discount for $4700. She may already be sold at that price, so if you’re interested, please let me know shortly. I would love for her to find a home with you. Ask about a 3-D shoogle (spins the sculpture around to view all angles) and I will send a link for viewing. Thanks for watching, ~Tamara

[...] Brought my two finished molds to the foundry. Finally got a chance to talk to the mold lady there and get some pointers on mold making. She said out of all her 30 years at the foundry, my molds rank up with maybe one other artist that made their own molds. A-1, “Beautiful,” and thumbs up she gave me. I felt so glad to hear that! I’ll share those mold tips on my next post. Edit: Finished Kristy’s Blossom bronze photos on this blog post. [...]
